Danny Louchiey

Owner & Director

Mr. Danny went to South Carolina State University and studied performing arts, which way back then was called “a drama major,” and he minored in business. After college, he moved to Atlanta and was discovered in an open casting call by Randall James, who at the time was casting director for ABC daytime television. He flew to NYC for a screen test for the role of "Jesse" opposite Debbi Morgan on the daytime soap, "All My Children." After having the experience of auditioning for a major network, Danny flew to LA and had bit roles in some made-for-TV movies, such as "Happy," starring the late, great, Dom DeLuise.

While in LA, Danny studied various acting techniques including the Stanislavski system, method acting, and others. While continuing in the pursuit of his acting career, Danny worked for a short time as a personal assistant for recording superstar Stevie Wonder, after which he worked as a limousine driver driving Hollywood execs and superstars such as Tony Bennett, Eddie Murphy, Brooke Shields, Michael Jackson, Ozzy Osbourne, Paula Abdul, Lionel Ritchie, and others. It was while working as a limo driver Danny's life changed when he met Steven Mettz, owner and CEO of Swiss Entertainment Company, representing television composers and artists. As Mettz' personal assistant, Danny learned the ins and outs of running a successful agency. During this period Danny decided that entertainment was definitely the business for him.

After LA, Danny moved to London and did numerous voiceovers for London's Channel 4 Television Company. He worked for "The Talk of London" Cabaret Club and hired Ms. Georgina as the lead dancer (and subsequently married her!). Some of the many performers to perform and visit "The Talk of London" were Sir Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams, Boy George, Sasha Cohen, Emma Thompson, and many more. Danny also organized private events for celebrities such as Andrew Lloyd Webber. Georgina and Danny are blessed with two beautiful children, Josh and Carina-Kay. Danny also is blessed with his two other children, Hershey and Lenni Louchiey.

After spending almost 20 years in London and opening two performing arts schools together, Danny convinced his beautiful wife to move to Atlanta and after living here for a little over a year, they opened the Renaissance International School of Performing Arts. Now after having made a third location move, RISPA brings many blessings to them and to the community. In Danny's own words, "Our children are both in college and grown, Georgina and I could be empty-nesters, but instead, we have taken on all the children of RISPA as our own!"

Ms. Georgina is an internationally-known teacher and artist who performed professionally on London's Drury Lane (equivalent to New York's Broadway). For more than five years, Georgina performed in the Olivier Award-winning "42nd Street" in London's West End. As a teacher, Georgina is a member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and R.A.D. She is well-known for jazz and tap instruction and choreography. She has taught at Italian Conta and Arts Educational.

Before moving to the states in 2004, Georgina and Danny owned two successful dance schools in London. The Atlanta community has enjoyed her choreography in outstanding productions of "Seussical," "Fame," "Godspell," "Dear Edwina," "13," "All Shook Up," "Shrek," and others. She has choreographed countless award-winning numbers at Access Broadway and was nominated for Best Choreographer. Along with husband Danny, she was named Best Studio Director in 2011 and 2013, and in the summer of 2013 led RISPA to #1 in America, winning the Broadway Cup for Performing Arts in the National Access Broadway Competition. Most recently, RISPA came back from 2017 Regionals with the titles, Best Dance School, Best Performing Arts School, and Best Choreography.

Georgina had literally danced all over the world and is especially proud of becoming a US citizen in February 2013 and remains loyal to the U.K. and the U.S. as a dual citizen. Over the past five years, Georgina has collaborated with the Broadway Dreams Foundation. She is proud to have performed "Both Sides Now" at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta and New World Stages, NYC, with BDF as a testament to dancing through life as a breast cancer survivor.

Georgina's goal is to continue to expand the opportunities at RISPA, to share her love of performing arts, and to enable all students to have the best performing arts training in the country.
