Lyrical, Contemporary and Jazz

Lexi Skinner is from Atlanta, Georgia, and is a rising Senior at Texas State University. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance and Choreography through the Dance Division. Lexi began training in dance at age three and soon after auditioned & became a company member at RISPA, where she trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Voice, and Musical Theatre for 13 years. By age 11, she had performed in two professional shows, “Annie” and “The King and I” at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta through the Theatre of the Stars foundation, as well as “CATS'' and “The Leader of the Pack” at The Cumming Playhouse. In local theatre, Lexi performed in “Dear Edwina”, “Seussical”, “Shrek”, “CATS”, and “In The Heights'' at the Louchiey Theatre in Alpharetta.



In recent years, Lexi has pursued extra work in various T.V. series’ such as: "Legacies" as a cheerleader, "Kim of Queens", "Queen Fur” & was also cast in a dance commercial for Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church. She also had the opportunity to take part in a professional flash mob and assist in awarding a major scholarship. After her freshman year of college, Lexi became an instructor at Wimberley Dance Elite where she taught ChoreoTech, Jazz, Acro, Tap, and Contemporary dance styles, as well as numerous private lessons throughout the week. Upon graduation, Lexi hopes to travel the world and dance professionally while also continuing her passion for choreographing & sharing her love for dance with her students.
