Abella Sparks began her dance career at Dance Now at the age of five. She joined RISPA at nine years old, where she continued her training and is now a proud RISPA alumni, having developed into a skilled performer and dedicated mentor. While at RISPA, she was a member of the Ballet/Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Tap, Hip Hop, Acting, and Voice Companies. She also dedicated her time to being a student teacher, and eventually a lead teacher as well.
During her training, Abella appeared in productions such as Frozen Jr. and Elf Jr. at the Louchiey Theater, and performed at the Orange Conference in 2023 and 2024 at the Gas South Arena. She also competed at both regional and national levels with Starbound, Stage One, Artist Simply Human, and Access Broadway, earning recognition through numerous solos, duets, and group numbers.
Today, Abella has come full circle, teaching at RISPA while pursuing her degree as a Dance major at Kennesaw State University, where she is currently a member of the Dance Honors Society. She is continuously working to refine her craft and inspire the next generation of dancers.
