Born in Washington D.C. and raised in Frederick, Maryland, Lauren Debrick's journey into dance began at a young age. As a child, she moved to Atlanta, where she expanded her training to include Ballet, Pointe, and Jazz at the Decatur School of Ballet. Lauren also became a junior company member of the Decatur City Dance Company, honing her technique and performance skills.

After returning to Maryland, Lauren continued her growth in dance at the University of Maryland, where she focused on modern dance while training and performing with Modern and Contemporary dance companies. These experiences helped shape her unique aesthetic and creative approach, blending classical and contemporary influences.

Lauren completed her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and moved back to Atlanta to launch her professional career. Her journey as both a concert and commercial dancer allowed her to merge her diverse influences into a signature style of teaching and choreography. She became the first female resident choreographer at Gotta Dance Atlanta, a role that further developed her choreographic voice and allowed her to make lasting impacts on the local dance community.

As her career flourished, Lauren moved to Los Angeles, where she danced in feature films such as "Bessie" and "Dirty Grandpa” and appeared in commercials for major brands like Google and Walmart. Her talents also graced the stage at the Latin Grammy Awards, and she performed alongside prominent artists including 2 Chainz, Kaleena Zanders, and Muni Long.

Beyond her work as a performer, Lauren shared her knowledge and passion for dance as an instructor at the world-famous Debbie Reynolds Studio, where she inspired the next generation of dancers. With an emphasis on self-expression, growth, and creativity, Lauren believes dance is a transformative art form that enriches every aspect of life. Whether through choreography, performance, or teaching, Lauren continues to inspire with her dynamic, cross-disciplinary approach to dance.
