Assistant Student Teacher
Camden Johnston is from Cumming, Georgia and is a senior at Denmark High School where she is captain of the Varsity Dance Team. She began her training at the age of 5 in RISPA summer camps and then soon after, became a company member. She has now been dancing competitively with RISPA for 12 years and trains in Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Musical Theater, Contemporary, and Lyrical. She also trains in acting and takes voice lessons with Chad Watkins weekly. She has also been in many of RISPA’s theatrical productions such as, 13: The Musical, where she played the role of Cassie, and A Chorus Line, where she played the role of Judy.
By age 10, Camden was featured as the daughter of Zac Brown in a music video for the Zac Brown Band. Then, at age 11, she was a main character in an episode of the T.V. show A Haunting. She has since been in commercials, short films, and many devotional films for Orange. Alongside acting gigs, she has also booked dance gigs for Boosterthon and the Orange Conference. She hopes to dance collegiately on a dance team and plans to major in nursing at whichever school she decides to attend.
