Carina-Kay

Louchiey

Guest Teacher

Ms. Carina grew up in London, England dancing at a young age before moving to Georgia in 2004. She studied ballet, jazz, and tap at N.A.D.A., until her amazing parents opening their own studio – Renaissance International School of Performing Arts. Thus, RISPA was born and Carina trained everyday in all disciplines, taking voice and piano lessons as she aspired to be a professional dancer, actor, and singer.

Carina went on to study Musical theatre at The University of Michigan. During the summers in college, she got her Equity Card in DAMN YANKEES at Pittsburgh CLO theatre. She performed in SHREK, AIDA, SOUTH PACIFIC, NEWSIES, IN THE HEIGHTS, and MAMMA MIA! with PCLO. Before Carina started her senior year at Umich, she booked HAMILTON. She toured the country as a swing, covering 5 parts in the show for a year an half. (She went back to Michigan where she received her BFA in MT during the tour.) Most recently, Carina played Woman 4 in the “And Peggy” company of HAMILTON, before quarantine.

In this uncertain time, she has been living in LA auditioning for pilots and new projects. Ms. Carina is thrilled to be back in the studio that trained her to be the artist she is today, teaching the next generation of Broadway stars. She can’t wait to share her knowledge with the students of RISPA!
